There are no injuries from a 3-alarm fire Tuesday night at the Budget Inn in South Portland, although all the motel guests were displaced.

Numerous surrounding fire departments were called in to assist South Portland crews after they were notified at 7 pm of the blaze at the motel at 634 Main Street. Firefighters were able to put out the fire by about 9 pm, although investigators remained on the scene afterward to try and determine the cause.

Occupants of nine rooms were displaced but were reportedly able to find housing on-site.

Crews from Portland, Scarborough, and Cape Elizabeth were called in to assist with the fire.

Investigators say the cause does not appear to be suspicious.
