Police say officers were sent to the shooting scene at round 11 p.m. in the area of 125 Pierce Street.

Officers say they found several shell casings behind an apartment building, and also found numerous bullet holes entering a targeted apartment.

They say the intended victims told officers they had been warned earlier in the night that they may be targeted.

Lewiston Police say their investigation led to the arrest of five teenagers between 14 and 16-years-old on the attempted murder charges.
