A Lewiston Woman Wounded in an Early Morning Shooting.

The Lewiston Police are investigating a shooting that wounded a woman early Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred just before 3 am, in front of a residences on Webster Street.

The victim, 23-year-old Leyla Isaak, was transported to the Central Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

In February, Isaak was arrested and charged with weapon charges in connection with a shooting where bullets hit a vehicle.
