Bangor man arrested after alleged stabbing at McDonald’s

One man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a McDonald’s employee at one of the fast-food chain’s locations in Bangor this morning.

Police and fire crews responded to the location on Main St. at around 6:25 AM after receiving reports of the assault.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for injuries that are not considered life threatening.

61-year-old Paul Bernard of Bangor was taken into custody and has been charged with elevated aggravated assault.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
