A man from China, Maine is accused of knocking an ATV rider unconscious.
The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office says a couple riding an ATV on Sunday said a man in a pickup truck stopped and started yelling obscenities at them.
The man, Brent Elisens, allegedly then punched the man operating the ATV and continued kicking him after he fell into a ditch.
Elisens was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
