Early morning fire in Otisfield leaves animals dead

Several dogs died in a fire in Otisfield early Thursday morning.

Fire investigators say the blaze broke out at an address on Oak Hill Road around 2 a.m.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says a vehicle and a mobile home were seriously damaged, but there were no human injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Investigators remained at the scene and in the area throughout the day as they worked to determine the cause.
