LEBANON, Maine (WGAN) Investigators following up on a five-alarm fire in Lebanon on Saturday evening say the blaze was caused by a wood stove and chimney.

The fire broke out at the home Saturday evening at the intersection of Depot St. and Heath St., prompting an emergency response from surrounding towns.

A barn and attached house caught fire, with the flames spreading to nearby brush. Both structures were destroyed, as well as a car that was on the property.

Some firefighters suffered minor burns.

The homeowners were able to get out safely and are now staying with family.
