Fire investigators say a fire that destroyed a home in Stockton Springs over the weekend was intentionally set.

The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office says the flames broke out Sunday morning at a home on Cross Lane.

Investigators say there was no electricity connected to the home and that the fire was incendiary in nature.

They’re asking anyone with information to contact the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
