Three men accused of firing shots that struck an apartment building in Lewiston overnight Wednesday morning are facing charges.

Police say no one was struck by gunfire that was reported around 1:45 a.m., but it appeared the suspects were targeting a building near Walnut and Pierce Streets.

Three men, Javis Jellison of Lewiston, Donaven Harmon of Harrison and Jordan Senus of Dayton, all 20 years old, were caught after fleeing the area and arrested.

They were taken to Androscoggin County Jail and each face charges of reckless conduct and falsifying evidence.

Harmon faces additional charges of violating conditions of release and discharging a firearm near a dwelling.

The shooting is still under investigation.
