A Lewiston man was sentenced to five-and-a-half years behind bars for causing a fatal crash in Lewiston last spring.

Lewiston Police say the driver, Blaze Small, lost control of his vehicle and struck a residence on Webster Road in May of 2025.

His passenger, 28-year-old Natasha Thoits, died at the scene while another passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Small was sentenced Tuesday to 21 years behind bars for manslaughter, OUI and other charges, with all but five-and-a-half years suspended plus four years of probation.
