Maine man who pleaded guilty in wife’s killing sentenced to 45 years

A Peru Man was sentenced Friday for the murder of his wife in May of 2024.

According to the Sun Journal, prosecutors say 60-year-old David Gaudreau took his son’s gun, followed his wife, Dale Gaudreau, home from her work, then shot her as she sat in her car.

Gaudreau was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

In court, the couple’s children remembered their mother as a kind, loving and generous woman.
