There will be no more concerts at the Maine Savings Pavilion in Westbrook.

The Portland Press Herald reports that the developers of Rock Row notified the city this week that it’s going to discontinue shows at the 8,200-seat outdoor amphitheater for the rest of 2021 and beyond.

A spokesman for Massachusetts-based Waterstone Properties Group said a major construction project will make it unfeasible for them to host concerts at the venue.

The spokesman said they’re turning their attention to a meeting and convention venue at Rock Row.

The music venue opened for concerts in 2019, but no shows were held in 2020 due to the pandemic.
