NH Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child at Cumberland County Campground

An 81-year-old New Hampshire man faces felony charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor in Cumberland County,

Deputies say John Defina sexually assaulted a child under age 13 over the course of several years while he was a seasonal resident at the Four Seasons Campground in Naples.

They say Defina was arrested Wednesday by Kingston, New Hampshire Police on a warrant issued out of Maine.

He’s being held at Rockingham County Jail in New Hampshire awaiting transfer to Maine on three Unlawful Sexual Contact charges.

Defina faces the following charges:

Two Counts (2) Unlawful Sexual Contact, Class “B” Felony
One Count (1) Unlawful Sexual Contact, Class “C” Felony
Two Counts (2) Unlawful Sexual Contact, Class “D” Misdemeanor
