One Person Arrested After Body Found at Brunswick Mobile Home

A suspect is in jail after Brunswick Police found a dead man at a residence in a mobile home park Tuesday morning.

Police say they were called to the scene of reported gunshots at 5 Valerie Street, where they located the dead person and arrested the resident.

The resident was taken to the Cumberland County Jail while the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit and the Maine Fire Marshal’s Office assisted the Brunswick Police Department in an investigation.

The deceased man was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy to confirm identity and determine cause and manner of death.
