Serious crash shuts down Route 9 in Eddington

Part of Route 9 in Eddington was shut down after a serious crash on Monday.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said Route 9 near the town office was closed.

The crash was reported around 1 p.m., and Route 9 reopened about three hours later.

No other details have been released.
