Windham Man Faces Domestic Violence Charges After Reportedly Firing Gun

A 20-year-old Windham man faces numerous charges after being accused of firing a gun during a domestic dispute Monday night.
Windham Police say they called in three other agencies for assistance after learning Chase Beardsley had fled into a wooded area after reportedly firing a single shot from a building off Route 202.
The building was identified as  Beardsley Automotive at 5 Cornfield View in Windham.
Officers say they located and arrested Beardsley without incident, and there were no injuries from the domestic dispute.
He faces Domestic Violence and Reckless Conduct charges.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Gorham Police Department, and Cumberland Police Department assisted Windham Police with the incident, which was reported at about 9:30 pm Monday.
 Police also said there was no threat to the public at any time during the incident.
