An amazing tribute to a lost friend
The WPOR Morning Crew always loves to spotlight amazing kids and young adults who are doing inspirational things in their community and school.
This is the story of a tribute to a lost friend, Alivia Welch. Alivia and her boyfriend, Derrick Thompson, were fatally shot in December 2012 in Biddeford.
This is the video from one of Alivia’s friends, Thornton Academy graduate B. Aull, along with the others listed below. The songwriter, singer, and video producer are all young adults, either still in high school or recently graduated.
The lyrics apply to anyone who has lost a loved one.

On December 29th, 2012, we lost a very special person. A person that touched the lives of many and could always light up the room with her smile. This song/video is a tribute to celebrate the life of Alivia Welch, who was senselessly shot and killed at the young age of 18.
ALL proceeds from iTunes will be going to Alivia’s family for funeral costs and will also be put towards continuing to honor, remember and celebrate Alivia’s life.
