I’ll try and keep this short because I can literally go on forever talking about topics like this, but I am going to attempt to narrow down the content and shortly mention this.
Now that warmer weather is approaching we will have more of an opportunity to be outdoors and enjoy all that the universe has provided us. That being said, on one of those clear skied, warm nights, take the opportunity to go outside, preferably to a place with little light pollution, and if possible on a higher elevation and just lay down and look up. Gaze upon the night sky and all the stars and planets that are such an unreachable distance away and just clear your mind. Allow all the stresses of life dissolve and empty your thoughts. Instead, allow your brain to take you to a place that you normally would never go and just go deep in thought regarding just how incredible the universe actually is.
Now this isn’t exclusive based on something like personal beliefs, you can do this whether you follow a religious belief or not. Because despite what we all hold true to our own belief system, the fact of the matter is the universe is there for us to look upon in wonder, fear, joy, etc. The mere fact that when you look at those bright bulbs in the sky, it is difficult for me to believe that anybody wouldn’t be astounded by the fact that some of those lights are located BILLIONS of light years away. Meaning that the light emitted by those stars has spent billions of years traveling at a little over 186,000 miles per second, during that journey that photon was somehow lucky enough to miss colliding with every other potential object on that journey, and made it all the way to our little blue marble we call Earth, and just so happened to land on our eyes, giving us the chance to gaze billions of years into the galactic past!
I can feel myself getting far too excited for this and I want to just continue to ramble on about the incredible happenings of our universe, so perhaps for another day, or find me on Facebook and we can discuss this topic in much further depth. Until next time.
