Dierks makes it “different” in his new video

Dierks just premiered his new video for the song “Different For Girls” featuring Elle King.

Here’s what we learned in the video about Elle King

  1. She plays banjo
  2. She could have probably been a really good country singer is she didn’t sing pop songs.

Here’s an exerpt from a USA Today interview:

The country crooner swaps vocals with “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer Elle King in the track that’s devoted to the different ways women and men handle breakups.

“It’s different for girls when their hearts get broke / They can’t tape it back together with a whiskey and Coke,” they sing.

But when TODAY’s Dylan Dryer had an opportunity to sit down with both Bentley and King to talk about the track, she found out they don’t exactly handle their own breakups the way they sing about it.

“She handles things different than the way the girl does in this particular song,” Bentley said. “I probably handle things differently than a lot of guys do. I take it pretty hard.”

Or as King simply put it, “He’s does it the girly way. I do it the manly way.”
