Lee Brice surprised military widow

Lee Brice surprised a military widow with her late husband’s old truck.

Lee Brice’s song “I Drive Your Truck” was an inspiring song for Ginger Gurley Gilbert Ravella after her husband Troy Gilbert was killed in Iraq.  Troy was an F-16 pilot, killed in action in 2006.

After he was killed, she said she wished they still had her husband’s old truck, which they had sold to save money while he was away.

At last weekend’s Party For A Cause prior to the ACM Awards, Lee presented a $40,000 check to Folds of Honor, a non-profit that provides educational support to spouses and children of America’s fallen and wounded soldiers.

Then, Lee made a special surprise presentation to the family.
