Applesauce- An exclamation of displeasure      

Beat one’s gums- To talk excessively

Cat’s Pajamas- AKA Cat’s meow, the best of something

Don’t take any wooden nickels- Don’t do something foolish

Get a wiggle on- Hurry up

Clams- Money

Giggle Water- Booze

Juice Joint- A bar, or speakeasy (An illegal bar during prohibition)

Spifflicated- Drunk

Now you’re on the trolley!- You’re on the right track

Tomato- A good looking girl
