I listen to the 10% Happier podcast with Dan Harris. He talks about his experience and other “experts” about meditation. (I put that in quotes because meditation is definitely a practice.) It’s really, really helpful to quiet your mind, even for the smallest amount of time. Some people do it for a long time, everyday, but you don’t have to. I am a skeptic most of the time, but when I do it, it is really helpful and I am convinced once again that this is a useful practice.
