For those that are following, I lost another half pound this week. The weight is coming off really slowwwwly, but considering what I ate on Sunday: Ham, mac & cheese (my brother makes THE BEST!!) 2 glasses of wine, some vegetables just because I thought I should, carrot cake, (it was EASTER!!!) umm…. OH YEAH, ribs, mashed potato and gravy, umm….. OH YEAH, I think there was a chocolate bunny with half an ear somewhere on the table. 🙂
Hey, it’s a journey. Truly. I do know that I am right back on program and will continue to have a great week. Life is too short to worry too much about it. Does that mean that I won’t plan what I eat and try to resist a few of my favorites? No. I will do those things because I really want to take off the weight I’ve gained since living in the Great State of Maine!
Total so far, 5.5. If you don’t think that’s a lot, pick up a ham at the grocery store and see how much 5.5 pounds actually IS. Not bad. What I know is that I will continue to seek YOUR support and the support of the others at my weigh in. That is SO IMPORTANT to know that I am not alone and others have great suggestions and motivation when I need it. I do the same for them.
SO, until next week. I’m off to cook some turnip fries. 🙂
